Dye Experiments, Student Work, Spring 2022
Once dye experiments complete, samples are ironed and some students chose to hem edges. Samples stacked and binder clipped for presentation.
Students experimented with the following natural dyes:
-Indigo
-Logwood
-Marigold
-Rojo
-Walnut
-Madder
-Weld
Fabric used:
-Kona Cotton PFD
-A few students experimented with silk.
Various Shibori techniques explored.
Average sample size 12" square.
